Setting up BluePay Hosted Payment Gateway in netFORUM

Overview

You can use BluePay Hosted Payment Gateway to pay when purchasing products in NetForum.

This functionality will keep your customer's ACH and Credit Card information secure within BluePay while making payment. Although NetForum will not store any of the customer's payment information, you will still have all of the normal functionality within the system. For example, refunding the payment directly to the customer, and so on.

During the order process, the customer will be directed to a BluePay Hosted Payment Gateway window outside of NetForum to complete the transaction. A Reference Number is the only record returned to NetForum which is used to reconcile accounts.

Usage

This feature is available on version 2017.1.10. To enable this feature, make the following setting updates in the NetForum.

To add Merchant Account information in the Merchant Account child form, complete the following steps.

  1. Go to Accounting module> Overview > Accounting Setup.
  2. On the Accounting Setup page, go to Payment Gateways and select existing BluePay Merchant Account.
  3. From the Payment Gateway Profile page, click button on the left of the Merchant Accounts.
  4. Add-Merchant Account window will display.

  5. Add BluePay-Hosted in the Merchant Account Name field. Select the check boxes as appropriate, then click Save button.

To add BluePay as a Payment Method in your Business Unit, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Business Unit Profile page, click the Payment Method tab.
  2. In the Payment Method child form, click the Add button. The Add - Payment Method window will display.
  3. Enter BluePay Hosted ACH in the Payment Method field.
  4. Note: If the payment method is BluePay, then the entry in the gateway/menchant account field must be a BluePay gateway.

  5. Select ACH from the Payment Type drop-down list (these list items are hard coded).
  6. Select BluePayBU from the Business Unit drop-down list and Cash Account as appropriate.
  7. Select the Available On Centralized Shopping Cart check box (optional).
  8. Selected BluePay-Hosted from the Gateway / Merchant Account drop-down list.
  9. Enter a Batch Suffix (optional).
  10. Click Save.
  11. Repeat the steps to add BluePay Hosted CC information for Credit Card payment method.

 

To enable BluePay Hosted Payment forms in NetForum, two new merchant account settings need to be added to Existing BluePay Merchant Account Profile.

  • ACHPaymentForm
    • Baseline form: cbnfeachfrom01
  • CCPaymentForm
    • Baseline form: cbnfeccform01
